It's always depressing coming back from a lovely holiday, and being faced with reality. All those things you put on your to do list when you're back and suddenly you have to do them. So much fun. Something I did want to do while I was away was film a what I wore holiday edition, but to be honest - I didn't want to when I got out there. So I thought instead it'd be fun to do a round up of my outfits on here.

The Chloe Faye Dupe
I'm going to be honest, I've never been a huge "bag" person. I've never looked at a bag and physically swooned the way I have at a pair of Jimmy Choo's. I can appreciate their beauty, and like all girls a Mulberry wouldn't go unloved, but it's just never been a must for me. However, when bloggers started showing off their Chloe Faye bags I started to pay attention.

Beauty | Topshop Lip Liners
I've become a little bit (okay, massively) obsessed with lip liners lately. Once upon a time I saw lip liners as they were in the 90s, a different colour around the line than the middle, and I shuddered. But now I can see the beauty of them, in particular these little budget beauties.

Style | Typical Weekend Autumnal Style
I absolutely love autumn style, mainly because I get to wear things like this. I absolutely love throwing a baggy jumper or cardigan over a dress or skirt, it's just so comfortable but I also think it can look very simple and stylish as well. This is definitely my typical autumn weekend uniform.

The Review | Create A Summer Cheek with Topshop
For me my cheek make up always changes with the weather. When it gets colder my blushes get more berry-toned, highlighter gets forgotten and bronzer is only for contouring. However, now it's bloody hot again in the UK I've changed it up again, and Topshop make up is a big big hit this year.

The Style Post | Shorts in Winter... Of Course!
Jumper: Topshop | Shorts: ASOS | Necklace: Accessorize | Boots: Topshop
I honestly forgot how hard it is to actually take good outfit photos... Especially with a boyfriend who doesn't particularly want to be doing it. But hey! I wore this outfit on Sunday when it was a bit chilly but I'm in a complete and utter avoid jeans if I can head space at the moment. Saying that, my new outfit post will most likely end up including jeans...
Anyway - this is definitely a "Oh, tree in my garden - let's pose awkwardly by you" post. Saying that, I do like the tree though. I got this jumper in the Topshop Black Friday sale and I've worn it sooo much since. It's pretty much been attached. It's so comfortable and goes with pretty much everything. I love the detailing on the shoulders which take it from boring to something special. The shorts I got last year for summer and I still love them. I've styled them for summer here but I wanted to give them a wintery feel as well.
Now for the little details. The necklace is a hefter from Accessorize and I adore it. I bought it with some birthday vouchers and it's turned into my most worn necklace of all time probably. It's quite heavy but it makes any outfit look incredible. Now the shoes. Sign, I love the shoes. These are brand new from the Topshop sale and I haven't really taken them off my feet since I bought them. So comfortable and I love the buckle detail.
How would you style shorts this winter?

The Mani | Topshop Speckle Nails
The Topshop next to where I work is evil. They keep things on the till that tempt me - my poor poor bank account. These were one of those purchases, what could I do? I was buying a top with the EXACT same colours in it so - you know. Whoops.
I don't have any speckle polishes so these were definitely a novelty and the colours are beautiful. Dancing in the Dark looks like a pale grey, but it definitely has some nude tones to it which makes it that tab different and versatile. Everybody Get Up is a summer pale lilac, not mu usual colour but very pretty. I find that the white speckles are really easy to apply - you do need a couple of coats to get a good amount of colour but it is still quite sheer. Longevity wise after five days I've seen no chipping (apart from where I had a bendy nail) so I'm thoroughly impressed. I do find the formula a little thin which is a downside, but I do love the colours and the difference in pattern.
Have you ever tried speckle nails?

The Review | Topshop Macaroon
TOPSHOP LIPSTICK IN MACAROONIt seems like forever since I've done a lipstick review - or actually bought a lipstick full stop. I've been getting more into lip glosses this spring however I couldn't pass up the opportunity to buy this little beauty. I don't have the best track record with Topshop lipsticks... I usually find the formula very hard and drying and I've never been 100% about the colours. I've heard some lovely things about Macaroon though and I've loved the swatches so when I saw it sitting on the till when making another purchase it miraculously found its way into my bag. Whoops! So has this converted me to Toppers lip products? Well, yes. I don't know if they've changed the formula or if my lips have changed (I have been focusing on sorting them out) but I've found this isn't really as drying as the other ones I have. The bullet is still quite hard which isn't the easiest way to apply but once it settles it's really comfortable to wear, not too heavy, soft and has a lovely velvet finish. Not too matte which is perfect for me. The colour is beautiful, I'm completely in love with it and it's been my go to lip product since I bought it. It's the perfect everyday colour for my skin tone and really brightens my complexion. So, I have officially been converted to Topshop lipsticks - the fact that there is a Toppers right near where I work? Well, that just helps... (if you're my bank balance it however hinders...)What's your favourite Topshop lipstick?

The Outfit Post | The Red Tartan Pencil
Yes, I am aware that I look slightly pregnant in the top pics - I am not! Just a little bloated obviously..! Anywho, let's move onto the simplicity yet beauty of this outfit. I absolutely love it. A simple pencil skirt is perfect for me as it's comfy, long and (most of the time) incredibly flattering for my curvier figure. I've kept it really simple here styled with a plain black vest and this gorgeous kimono from New Look which just adds a little something extra with the crochet.
Now let us swoon over this necklace. It's incredible and I haven't stopped wearing it since it landed on my doorstep. I love statement necklaces at the moment but this has to be up there with my ultimate faves - the colours go with everything and ah, just beaut!
This was also my little tatts first outing so its quite nice for me to see how it looks all styled up nicely - check out the ankle and meet my beaut little flutterby!

The Top 5 | Opinion Changers
Sometimes you try a product and you instantly dislike it - there is just something about it that you can't like. So, you pop it aside and leave it alone for a while. Then, you end up picking them up again and o look - now you like them! This happens to everyone, yes? Well over the years there have been a couple of products that have changed my mind...
SLEEK BLUSH IN ROSE GOLD
I got this in a blog sale over a year ago now and was my first Sleek product. The first few times I tried this I really didn't like the colour. I just didn't think it suited me at all. Lately I've picked it up again and retried it and I really love the formula of the blush, the lasting power and suddenly I am intrigued by the colour. It's a different colour than my usual, it has a definitely golden touch and I love the highlighting properties.
ORIGINS OUT OF TROUBLE MASK
So, it's not that I never liked this. I always loved it and the results it brings in terms of my skin. However, the first few times I used it I really didn't how it felt on my skin, it was warm and felt uncomfortable, a little bit burning. I stopped for a while but the past few months I've picked it up again and love it. I've used less of it and the burning sensation is a hell of a lot less and it's not uncomfortable in the slightest - this one I'd put down the user error. Whoops!
ORIGINS SUPER SPOT REMOVER GEL
If you read my initial review of this you'd know I really didn't see the point in it. Then recently you'd have seen it again and again in my blemish busting and skincare posts. This has completely changed my mind. I use this little and often now - it's a very targeted treatment and teamed with my toner it's a winning combination. I couldn't live without this now.
TOPSHOP LIPSTICK IN INFRARED
Again this was more of a case of a colour not really suiting me on first impressions. This was a definite orange and I really didn't feel happy or confident wearing it from the off. So it got popped in my lipstick drawer and kind of forgotten about for a while. Then, I picked it up again around November and loved it. Maybe I'd lost a bit of tan so it suited me more? I don't know, but I do love the colour now - parfait!
BENEFIT THEY'RE REAL MASCARA
If I'm honest, I've tried this so many times because I keep falling for the hype - even if I wasn't sure I really liked it. I found it a bit wet and also, not waterproof is a big no no for me so I shyed away a lot. Very recently I've been really unimpressed with my current mascara, so dug out my one of these and I've now fallen for the look it gives. It's so natural and amazing - still wish it was waterproof but I'm finally understanding the hype!
I have so many other products that I don't use for one reason or the other and 9 times out of 10 I will keep going back to give it another go. You skin changes depending on the weather/day in terms of oiliness, dryness etc so skin care and foundations that once used to hate your skin may come around to liking it. Also, user error is a huge thing with me - I'm not a make up artist, expert in how to use things, I always read the destructions five times over before I actually use something. If you're like me in that respect that's why twitter is so amazing - just ask someone for help :)

The Outfit Post | The First Sun of Spring
dress: topshop | tshirt: topshop | necklace, bracelet and earrings: rings & tings | shoes: topshop
Sunday was a gorgeous sunny Spring day. I'm sure everyone used the opportunity to pop out and enjoy it! I was working Saturday and had some bits and bobs to do Sunday so I caught a little of the sun when I went out to take some long overdue outfit photos.
I've had this dress for years, it is my favourite summer dress - white and lace! Perfect for the summer. This is probably the first time I've worn it outside of the summer months but I love it. I popped this slouchy tshirt over the top as an extra layer and rolled it up with a belt to keep it at a cropped length. I really like this affect I must admit.
I was very kindly sent some pieces from Rings & Tings again this month. I've been coveting this collar for a while, it's perfect and oh so pretty. I absolutely adore it. I've paired it with these gorgeous diamante chandelier earrings and this simple gold infinity bracelet - which I will admit hasn't left my wrist (except for showers and baths). I really love the simplicity and textures of this outfit, it's definitely a spring keeper!
What's your current spring look?

The Outfit Post | Simple Tings
For some reason most of my outfit posts mainly consist of Topshop items. Whoops! Today is no different. This is the outfit I wore on Saturday, very simple and very comfortable. However I managed to jazz it up with some gorgeous pieces kindly sent over from Rings and Tings.
Simplicity is sometimes so so nice, no pattern, no tricks, just nice and quiet. A quiet outfit. Throwing a shirt over a top and jeans can make an outfit go from dull to a little something extra. Pop on a fab short necklace and you have yourself an outfit. I LOVE this necklace. I think it is absolutely gorgeous. Goes with everything, delicate and girly, yet chunky so still has a bit of edge. The earrings just finish them off perfectly.
Not only that, but the price is so reasonable. For what you're getting, it's really nothing to pay for good quality beautiful pieces.

The Outfit Post | Not A Granny Skirt
I feel I need to explain the title - basically my lovely boyfriend is of the opinion that this is a "granny skirt". Well, we all know how fashionable he is now don't we. Anywho, I fell in love with this skirt. The shape, the colours, just the idea behind it. So comfy to wear and you can either dress it up or down - I have no doubt you'll be seeing a dressed up version at some point.
Here I have popped it with a baggy jumper, tucked in at the front and some little pumps. These pumps I got in the Ugg sale for £35 - reduced from £80, bargain! I love them. They have a memory sole and the classic ugg sheeps wool on the back heel so no rubbing. So comfortable and again, love the colour. I also can't believe I've never featured this jumper before. I got it last Christmas (?) and I love it. The colour (hello navy) and the gems. It's slouchy and o so comfy.
I have also got this skirt in a gorgeous red tartan - in the sale yay for £15 I might add. I will definitely be looking to get more of them, in lots of different patterms. So beware boyf - it's the return of the 'granny' skirt - or as I like the call it, the uber flattering comfy gorgeous pencil skirt.

The Outfit | A Little Daisy Number
On Saturday I went out with the boy to see a load of mortgage advisors about what we could borrow to buy our very own house. Both of our job situations are a bit up in the air at the moment (hoping I share more of that with you soon) so it was enlightening, if confusing. For the day I wore this little number. I also wore this out for drinks for my besties birthday.
This dress is like a dream. I got one the exact same shape etc for my birthday (here) but I've been eyeing up this one since as well. This pattern is so pretty, neutral and just plain yum. I love me a bit of floral. It's your typical smock dress, slightly baggy, super flattering and comfy. I decided to team it with some purple pattern tights instead of the usual black for a bit more depth to the outfit. I really like the affect. Add a chunky knit and voila - outfit complete!

Outfit | The Little Winter Green
Ok, so maybe shorts isn't the best idea in this weather. However I was dying to put this outfit together and wear it. I'm going to be all doom and gloom here and say I HATE my thighs in these photos but hey - I like the outfit so pish posh.
I've had this playsuit for over two years now and only really wear it for special occassions as it's more of a smart one. My boyfriend hates it, I love it - so standard for my wardrobe really! I recently got this gorgeous mint green jumper from Topshop with some Christmas vouchers and have worn it so much since. It's perfect for under collars and it's so warm, it's like triple quilted so very warm (this also means it takes two days to dry boo).
I wore this outfit to go and see the lovely Paige from Paige Joanna for a bit of tea and cake (coffee for me) down in her home town of Southsea. We thought it would be the perfect opportunity to do some outfit pics. My legs were chilly, however my top half was very warm thanks to this cutie jumper. Thumbs up indeed!

I've linked everything I can still find for you guys. You can also get this jumper in a gorgeous pale pink which you can find here.
