Beauty | A Clinique Skincare Haul

I'm getting married in 5 months, so I thought it was about time I sorted some skin issues out so it's in tip top shape for the day. I thought quite a while about where I wanted to go, but I decided I needed to go to one counter and speak to someone. I've used Clinique before and my skins always agreed with it, so off to the Clinique counter I went.

I went in with certain issues in mind that I needed help with, and the lovely consultant helped me pick and choose the right products for me. I've been using them for a while now so felt like it was finally time to share my findings with all of you.

Job One | Goodbye Eye Make Up
I really can't get to grips with a good eye make up remover, micellars, oils etc and I wear liquid liner, so I need a goodun. The lovely consultant suggested Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm, which I've heard a lot of good things about. I hadn't tried a balm before so I was up for it and honestly, this is probably my favourite of all my purchases. It literally melts any make up off my face with the smallest of product and doesn't make my face greasy. It really just removes everything and I'm completely in love with this product.

Job Two | Daily Cleanse
I'm a lazy slob - there, I've said it. Basically this means I know I should cleanse on a daily basis but I just can't be arsed. I needed a simple, easy routine that I could easily do morning and night without too much bother. The Clinique lady talked to me about their 3 step skincare system. They went through their iPad and it came back with my skin type being 2, so they set me up with the products for that. To try it out I got the starter set which includes the Liquid Facial Soap, Clarifying Lotion and Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion+, These are probably my least favourite of all the products. They did clean my face, but I found the Soap and Clarifying Lotion to be a bit harsh on my skin, and the lotion made me a bit greasy. For me, these weren't what I needed.

Job Three | Backne
Otherwise known as acne on your back. I have this in spaces, and my back is on show in my dress so this really needs to be sorted. The lady immediately suggested Anti-Blemish Solutions Cleansing Foam for use in the shower every day. A pricey body wash for your back but actually this works so well for me and I would highly recommend it. I'm not using it as much as I should but when I do I notice a huge difference. She also suggested their Clinical Clearing Gel for targeted treatment, which I'm also head over heels for.

I'm impressed with the majority of products I picked up, however for me I'd leave the 3 step programme and use some other products that I think work better for my skin.

What Clinique products can't you live without?
