Style | Accessorize January Sale Haul

Usually I try to avoid any sales in stores as it drives me crazy, I just can't handle the stress. However, I was given Accessorize vouchers for Christmas so I felt it was time to break tradition and go and have a look. So let's see what I came home with...

The Style Post | A Summer Time

Summer is definitely a time when I really start to do my outfit posts again. As much as I love winter outfits of layering, I do feel more trendy and creative when the weather gets warmer. Also, my colour scheme tends to get lighter, although navy and blue still tend to be a common theme... Anyway, one thing I've managed to add to my summer wardrobe this year is a beautiful, summer style watch.

The Style Post | Shorts in Winter... Of Course!

Jumper: Topshop | Shorts: ASOS | Necklace: Accessorize | Boots: Topshop

I honestly forgot how hard it is to actually take good outfit photos... Especially with a boyfriend who doesn't particularly want to be doing it. But hey! I wore this outfit on Sunday when it was a bit chilly but I'm in a complete and utter avoid jeans if I can head space at the moment. Saying that, my new outfit post will most likely end up including jeans...

Anyway - this is definitely a "Oh, tree in my garden - let's pose awkwardly by you" post. Saying that, I do like the tree though. I got this jumper in the Topshop Black Friday sale and I've worn it sooo much since. It's pretty much been attached. It's so comfortable and goes with pretty much everything. I love the detailing on the shoulders which take it from boring to something special. The shorts I got last year for summer and I still love them. I've styled them for summer here but I wanted to give them a wintery feel as well.

Now for the little details. The necklace is a hefter from Accessorize and I adore it. I bought it with some birthday vouchers and it's turned into my most worn necklace of all time probably. It's quite heavy but it makes any outfit look incredible. Now the shoes. Sign, I love the shoes. These are brand new from the Topshop sale and I haven't really taken them off my feet since I bought them. So comfortable and I love the buckle detail.

Outfit | The Little Winter Green

Ok, so maybe shorts isn't the best idea in this weather. However I was dying to put this outfit together and wear it. I'm going to be all doom and gloom here and say I HATE my thighs in these photos but hey - I like the outfit so pish posh.

I've had this playsuit for over two years now and only really wear it for special occassions as it's more of a smart one. My boyfriend hates it, I love it - so standard for my wardrobe really! I recently got this gorgeous mint green jumper from Topshop with some Christmas vouchers and have worn it so much since. It's perfect for under collars and it's so warm, it's like triple quilted so very warm (this also means it takes two days to dry boo).

I wore this outfit to go and see the lovely Paige from Paige Joanna for a bit of tea and cake (coffee for me) down in her home town of Southsea. We thought it would be the perfect opportunity to do some outfit pics. My legs were chilly, however my top half was very warm thanks to this cutie jumper. Thumbs up indeed!

Outfit details: Jumper, Topshop | Playsuit, Topshop (old) | Tights, Primark | Shoes, Schuh | Watch, Miss Selfridge | Bracelets, Accessorize

I've linked everything I can still find for you guys. You can also get this jumper in a gorgeous pale pink which you can find here.

Outfit | Totally Blue

shirt: new look | jeans: topshop | necklace: accessorize | lips: Mac Pink Nouveau

I have had this shirt for years - I can't even remember how long and I go through different phases of wearing it or not. In this instance, this is probably my favourite way to wear it. It's quite a long shirt, and goes quite tight over the bum, so I like to tuck it into my jeans and have it slightly baggy around the line.

It's super casual, yet can be dressed up really easily. I've popped some green and gold jewellery with it - I love mixing blues and greens, but I mainly do it to break up the blueness.
On the lips is a blue toned pink from Mac, one of my faves and again - breaks up the blue and brings a bit of colour pop. Looove it.

I'm not a huge fashionista - which is mainly why I don't do many outfit posts - but jeans and a top tend to be my uniform these days and this is a classic over at T&M.

Wishlist | Holiday Cover Up

1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6

So I'm off on holiday in just under five weeks, and I'm planning on spending most of it by the pool, chilaxing. So I thought I should make myself a little cover up wishlist, something to wear by the pool but that can be used to swap over to lunch/day out as well.

Now it is tradition for me to purchase a new bikini every year - and this year I've fallen in love with this gorgeous floral number from topshop. Bright blues and corals with frilly bottoms. It's just perfection. And looks like it's make any tan pop!

This is a gorgeous orange that goes perfectly with some of the flowers on the bikini. I've got one of these and they are such amazing quality for a nail polish, a great bargain and have some gorgeous gorgeous colours. Plus orange is so summer!

This will literally go with everything, and who can say no to lace in summer? It's ever so pretty and very airy as well. Another outfit to make any tan pop and can be dressed up or down, depending on where you want to wear it.

I bought a wayfarer type pair of sunnies from Accessorize last year and I wear them all of the time - these are gorgeous. Classic in black but with a seriously cute edge with the mini daisies dotted around the frame. And so cheap!

A gorgeous orange red perfect for summer and matches the bikini perfectly. I have a couple of these, and although a little drying I love the pigmentation and longevity. And I feel I desperately need a gorgeous orange red for summer!

Tan wedges are definitely a staple for all summers. No matter who you are - go get some tan wedges now! You'll thank me, trust me. These are so cute and such a good price as well, why not get them in all three colours?

So yep, this is my wishlist - what do you think?

Green Geometrics

dress: topshop  |  belt: mums  |  shoes:  new look  |  bracelet: lola rose  |  ring: accessorize  |  nails: Barry M

This is what I have broken my shopping ban for. This gorgeous geometric dress. It's so completely different to anything I own. I tried it on it Cardiff a few weeks go but put it aside to buy a different dress and my gorgeous purple jeans. However it kept niggling at the back of my head! So, I gave in and I'm so glad I did.

It's the perfect mix of aztec and geometric and can be dressed up or dressed down. This is all dressed up for a night out for dinner and drinks, teamed with classic black heels and black accessories. It doesn't need much added on thanks to its patterns and colours! It's so flattering as well, clinched waist hello!

You might have noticed as well, my hair is a tad darker! I decided to pop some brown in it after watching series upon series of Gossip Girl and falling back in love with Blair's beautiful locks! Hence the curls too which are courtesy of my new, lovely Enrapture Encode Totem Styler.

I definitely want to do a post on dressing this down as well, maybe how to wear it in the autumn for a casual day out! Will keep you updated :) definite new favourite buy!

How would you style this dress? What do you think of my new brunette locks!

On Your Bike

top: H&M  |  jeans: Topshop  |  shoes: New Look  |  bangle: Accessorize  |  ring: Wonsuponatime  |  nails: Barry M

Ok so be shocked - my hair is up! I never ever have photos taken of me when my hair is up. I'm just not comfortable with it and I think it makes my face look rather round eek. However, I thought I'd be a brave girl with this post and I'm not too displeased with the results - yay! I do usually have a side fringe, however it's grown rather long lately so it's usually sweeped up!

So a really simple outfit today. These are my amazing high waist jeans. I got them for my birthday last November and they have fallen off my radar slightly, but I found them on my bathroom floor the other day and it was one of those "o I forgot I had you!" moments! They are really flattering, really comfy and just really great.

I've teamed it with a new blouse from H&M. I've been looking for one like this for yonks! It's actually quite long and I've been wearing with with leggins and a vest underneath. I love the lace detailing on this - as you all know I'm a lover of all things lace so I was always going to fall in love with this!

Now onto my gorgeous lovely ring. I won this beauty in a Twitter competiton from Wonsuponatime. They haven't yet launched so I'm super lucky to have an item of theirs! They launch at the end of August so keep an eye out, you won't be disappointed. Give them a follow on twitter here :) I love her vintage a lot of their pieces look and this one in particular looks like an antique! It's also very apt with the Olympics at the moment!

I think this is a perfect evening with the girls for dinner outfit, I love it and the shoes give it that extra pop of glamour!

Purple Haze

top: H&M  |  jeans: topshop  |  shoes: accessorize  |  bangle: accessorize  |  GB band: Links of London

Bit of a different style of pictures for me. Well, kinda. Usual outside photo shots, but all landscape for today. I've become a bit meh about my blog lately. Not so much the content, but just the general look and feel. But I've been the same with my wardrobe lately as well so maybe it's just me.

These are my newest Topshop Leigh jeans in a gorgeous deep plum colour. I love Leigh jeans. They hug everything so nicely and yet are so comfortable. A tab pricey at £38 each but I've given myself permission to buy one pair per payday. These are a tad long but they don't tend to them them shorter for my waist which is a pain.

This top is also a newbie, this time from H&M. I spotted in their catalogue and loved it, so when I went up to Cardiff I sent Hanah and myself a mission for finding it. Find it we did, and purchase it I did. I like it cause it's different for me in terms of colour and style. I'm not a huge sequin fan so I took a chance. I like that it's baggy, however both me and the boy have complained of its scratchiness! I think it could be dressed up as well as down. I've already worn it to work with a pair of black trousers and blazer and dressed down like this as well.

I like this little outfit. It's a nice little weekend/shopping outfit and I can't wait for my next pair of Leigh jeans!

What colour Leigh jeans do you have? Which would you recommend?
