It's always depressing coming back from a lovely holiday, and being faced with reality. All those things you put on your to do list when you're back and suddenly you have to do them. So much fun. Something I did want to do while I was away was film a what I wore holiday edition, but to be honest - I didn't want to when I got out there. So I thought instead it'd be fun to do a round up of my outfits on here.

Style | Typical Weekend Autumnal Style
I absolutely love autumn style, mainly because I get to wear things like this. I absolutely love throwing a baggy jumper or cardigan over a dress or skirt, it's just so comfortable but I also think it can look very simple and stylish as well. This is definitely my typical autumn weekend uniform.

The Outfit Post | The Red Tartan Pencil
Yes, I am aware that I look slightly pregnant in the top pics - I am not! Just a little bloated obviously..! Anywho, let's move onto the simplicity yet beauty of this outfit. I absolutely love it. A simple pencil skirt is perfect for me as it's comfy, long and (most of the time) incredibly flattering for my curvier figure. I've kept it really simple here styled with a plain black vest and this gorgeous kimono from New Look which just adds a little something extra with the crochet.
Now let us swoon over this necklace. It's incredible and I haven't stopped wearing it since it landed on my doorstep. I love statement necklaces at the moment but this has to be up there with my ultimate faves - the colours go with everything and ah, just beaut!
This was also my little tatts first outing so its quite nice for me to see how it looks all styled up nicely - check out the ankle and meet my beaut little flutterby!

The Outfit | Monochrome and Pastels

On Sunday I went for a little stroll with the beaut that is Paige (from Paige Joanna). Sometimes I feel a bit "meh" about were we are, but when the sun comes out I couldn't think of anywhere else I'd rather be. We headed down to Portchester Castle for a little reprieve from Christmas festivities and to do some little outfit shoots.
Sometimes a little simplicity is all you need. Monochrome is right up there with navy for some of my favourite outfits. I got these gorgeous Joni jeans for Christmas, black, form fitting and high waisted - what could go wrong? I popped on this cute little vintage type shirt and tucked it in. I've had it for ages and I love wearing it tucked into high waist bits and pieces. I also got these jewellery pieces for Christmas from Lola Rose. The pastel offsets the monochrome and is actually just really super cute.

I was only out for a couple of hours with Paige, but we had a lovely stroll around the castle and had a really nice catch up. We exchanged presents (see instagram here) and just had a girly morning. If you haven't been to Portchester Castle then here, let these photos do the talking.
Isn't this church the cutest? This is actually where my parents got married so it has sentimental value for me. I spent a lot of child hood times here so it's great to come back every now and then. I live so close I really don't have any excuse but time gets away with you I suppose!
How is your new year going? Have you ever been to the Castle?

Outfit | Eat Your Heart Out
hat: topshop | shirt: topshop | cardigan: new look | jeans: topshop | necklace: lola rose | ring: lola rose
Sometimes you see a piece of clothing that you just have to sigh over and think "well, that was made for me". And that's what I thought with this shirt. My Mum pointed it out to me (see her post on it here) when we went shopping and we both ended up getting it.
It's a crop type shirt, navy (AH!) and decorated in gorgeous little hearts. I wore it with my amazing Joni jeans (don't think I've actually taken these off...) and a red cardigan when I went out for lunch with the lovely Paige in Wickham (see her post here about our day). It was the perfect autumn outfit before it got all cold and windy and bleugh. So comfortable, casual but chic for a lunch out having afternoon scones and tea and browsing vintage furniture.
This shirt would look super cute under a jumper with the collar poking out, or with a pencil shirt for a night out. I am loving this item of clothing. Me and Mum just need to make sure we don't wear them at the same time!!
How would you style this adorable shirt?

Outfit | A Rose by Any Other Name
dress: topshop | hat: topshop | boots: new look | necklace: swatch
This dress was a popular little number over the summer and I was definitely an admirer. But at £40+ I just couldn't justify it. So when I went last week and saw this in the sale for £20 in my size I just couldn't pass up the opportunity. It fits perfectly and it's a dress my boyfriend actually likes so win win!
I wore this outfit out on Saturday evening to a friends birthday and it was super comfy and just a really nice smart casual outfit that can be worn through winter by popping on some tights and ankle boots. I haven't worn these for a while, but after Paige chose them for one my outfits I fell back in love with them and had to wear them with this dress. I think they toughen it up a bit so it's not too girly girl.
Team this with Ruby Woo and my trusty bowler hat and you have yourself a Lisa. I don't think I've taken this hat off since I bought it. Whenever I go out it just appears on my head like a magnet. Who can beat a good head magnet!

Outfit | Totally Blue
shirt: new look | jeans: topshop | necklace: accessorize | lips: Mac Pink Nouveau
I have had this shirt for years - I can't even remember how long and I go through different phases of wearing it or not. In this instance, this is probably my favourite way to wear it. It's quite a long shirt, and goes quite tight over the bum, so I like to tuck it into my jeans and have it slightly baggy around the line.
It's super casual, yet can be dressed up really easily. I've popped some green and gold jewellery with it - I love mixing blues and greens, but I mainly do it to break up the blueness.
On the lips is a blue toned pink from Mac, one of my faves and again - breaks up the blue and brings a bit of colour pop. Looove it.
I'm not a huge fashionista - which is mainly why I don't do many outfit posts - but jeans and a top tend to be my uniform these days and this is a classic over at T&M.

Wishlist | Holiday Cover Up
So I'm off on holiday in just under five weeks, and I'm planning on spending most of it by the pool, chilaxing. So I thought I should make myself a little cover up wishlist, something to wear by the pool but that can be used to swap over to lunch/day out as well.
Now it is tradition for me to purchase a new bikini every year - and this year I've fallen in love with this gorgeous floral number from topshop. Bright blues and corals with frilly bottoms. It's just perfection. And looks like it's make any tan pop!
This is a gorgeous orange that goes perfectly with some of the flowers on the bikini. I've got one of these and they are such amazing quality for a nail polish, a great bargain and have some gorgeous gorgeous colours. Plus orange is so summer!
This will literally go with everything, and who can say no to lace in summer? It's ever so pretty and very airy as well. Another outfit to make any tan pop and can be dressed up or down, depending on where you want to wear it.
I bought a wayfarer type pair of sunnies from Accessorize last year and I wear them all of the time - these are gorgeous. Classic in black but with a seriously cute edge with the mini daisies dotted around the frame. And so cheap!
A gorgeous orange red perfect for summer and matches the bikini perfectly. I have a couple of these, and although a little drying I love the pigmentation and longevity. And I feel I desperately need a gorgeous orange red for summer!
Tan wedges are definitely a staple for all summers. No matter who you are - go get some tan wedges now! You'll thank me, trust me. These are so cute and such a good price as well, why not get them in all three colours?
So yep, this is my wishlist - what do you think?

Pale Jeans
top H&M: jeans Topshop: scarf Superdrug: necklace Superdrug: bracelet Links of London: earrings Accessorize: nails Bourjois: shoes New Look
I'm a little bit in love with Topshops Superskinny Leigh Jeans, as is everyone else I know, and I've been umming and ahhing about getting this colour for a while. When I went to London with the girls I threw caution to the wind and broke my usual black, navy and grey jean pattern. I love this colour. It literally makes the most casual of outfits look stylish. Plus they are ridiculously comfortable. They come in so many different colours, I swear my Mum has them all, and I am lusting over another couple of colours at the moment but I've limited myself to one every pay day!
Thanks to my lovely friend Andra I have discovered the power and beauty of Superdrug accessories - look at my gorgeous tribal necklace - only £2.99. Not kidding, and I haven't stopped wearing it. Ditto the scarf, another Superdrug find for a mere £4.99. Bargain! Again, not stopped wearing it since.
You will also note my lovely Links bracelet with a couple of charms I haven't shown you before. There is my lovely little butterfly that my brother and Hanah got me for Christmas when I got the bracelet, and a graduation hat for when I graduated (stating the obvious there).
Do you have Topshop jeans? What colours are you sporting?

Easy Dress
dress new look
blazer h&m

necklace lola rose
bracelet lola rose
boots h&m
So this is what I wore out for dinner with the girls in Covent Garden when I went up to London for a little trip. I was unsure of what the weather was going to be like so I thought a nice lace dress with tights and a blazer, can't go wrong with that! I would have loved to have worn heels but the idea of walking around London in heels for a while put me off... so my new lovely H&M boots which I nabbed in the sale were my go to!
I've reviewed this dress before here. It was one of those see once, leave but can't get it out of your mind dresses. Teamed with tights and the blazer I think it all goes together really well. I popped it with coral jewellery to add contrast with the blue blazer. Easy outfit and yet it still looks stylish
Both the blazer and the boots are in the H&M sale atm, definitely recommend checking it out!
Hope you like! Mini outfit post for me here, but I will pop up a most substantial one soon I promise - life's been a bit of a busy nightmare at the moment! But I definitely owe you guys a couple of proper outfit posts!
What would be your Covent Garden outfit?

I've been looking for the perfect maxi skirt for aaages. I'm not sold on those that have a shorter skirt visible underneath and I'm quite short so they all seem ridiculously long on me. However, I went into New Look this week and fell a little but in love with this one. It's a teeny bit see-through, so I wore a tshirt dress from H&M underneath to help with it, and I just love the colour. It's completely different to what I usually go for (blue) so I was pleased with my purchase! I have become a lot more adventurous when it's come to my recent purchases!
I wore this little beauty of an outfit to the Harry Potter, Warner Bros Studio tour the other day - was AMAZING! Would definitely recommend it to any Harry Potter fan! Was quite cool going through the tour and then watching a film and thinking "O I've seen that, o I know how that's done now!"
Have popped a couple pics below for you to enjoy :)
