The Wallpaper Diaries: Week 4 - Autumn

It is officially Autumn. The wardrobe has been swapped over, the heating is almost on, and the ankle boots are out in full force. This is 100% my favourite time of the year, so not only did I have to do some wallpapers to celebrate, I also had to do a whole week around autumn content! So let's pop a small pin in Florida for this week, and keep an eye across my Youtube and blog for autumn themed posts.

Body care is something that definitely isn't a priority for me. It never has been and I think it has more to do with laziness than anything else. So when I find a collection or a product that sends me head over heels, I feel like I have to rave about it. If I find something that makes me want to sit there and put body butter all over me, than I know it's something special.

Transitional Autumn Look Book

You guys know, or you do now, that I love Autumn. It's mainly because my birthday is in November, and you know Christmas isn't far behind, but it's also because of the fashion. I love to cosy up in a good pair of jeans, comfy slouchy jumper, or a cute dress with tights. It's like Lisa fashion prime time. I do love Summer, but I find it so hard to dress for it, and for a girl whose not super skinny or slim, summer fashions don't tend to do me many favours.

 

The Perfect Transitional Scent



Summer is, pretty much over and done with, which means Autumn is officially in the air. As I've stated on most blog posts since September hit... Because of this I feel like there's a lot of transitioning happening in various different ways. I've noticed I'm reached for richer lip colours, darker eyeshadows and comfier jumpers. But some things I find actually work through both seasons, and today I want to talk about a super transition fragrance.

Style | Typical Weekend Autumnal Style

I absolutely love autumn style, mainly because I get to wear things like this. I absolutely love throwing a baggy jumper or cardigan over a dress or skirt, it's just so comfortable but I also think it can look very simple and stylish as well. This is definitely my typical autumn weekend uniform.

Food | Autumnal Cinnamon Cookies

Totally on the opposite scale to healthy eating, I decided to cook up some autumnal treats. and nothing says autumn more than cinnamon. So I had a look through some recipes and cooked up my own version of these very yummy, light and tasty biscuits (or cookies... depending on what you want to call them).

Style | The Autumn Hat

I feel like I am so behind the times on this one but I'm so in love with my new hat. I've seen a few people wearing this style of hat and have been coveting for ages, so I just bit the bullet and went and got myself one from Topshop. I love it, I basically live in it and I think it's perfect for this autumnal weather.

Beauty | Budget Autumn Face

Autumn is officially here. The brisk mornings, the fallen leaves and the start of Strictly and X Factor. This also brings around the change in colour palettes dominating my make up drawers. Corals and pastels move to the bottom and back of the drawers, whist berries and bronzer s find their way to the front. With that in mind I created an autumnal make up look, which I've fallen in love with.

Life | A New Start in Autumn

This autumn is all about new starts for me, in many different ways. I love autumn, the crisp mornings, cosy candles, return of favourite tv shows, and many birthdays. Therefore it only seems right that my favourite season is also the catalyst for a brand new way of thinking.

It's been a good while since I've done a proper nail varnish review. I've been very remiss with my nails lately, I've just been a bit too busy really to do much with them. However, I sat myself down the  other day and fell back in love with a specific colour that I think is ideal moving into autumn.
