Transitional Autumn Look Book

You guys know, or you do now, that I love Autumn. It's mainly because my birthday is in November, and you know Christmas isn't far behind, but it's also because of the fashion. I love to cosy up in a good pair of jeans, comfy slouchy jumper, or a cute dress with tights. It's like Lisa fashion prime time. I do love Summer, but I find it so hard to dress for it, and for a girl whose not super skinny or slim, summer fashions don't tend to do me many favours.

Enter Autumn. Le sigh.

So today I've popped together a few different looks, with the help of Tobi, to show you how I'm going to transition my style from Summer to Autumn, hope you enjoy!

LOOK ONE
I'm completely in love with this jumper, the colours are spot on and it's super comfy. There's nothing better than finding a flattering jumper, and I love styling mine by layering them over the top of skirts - especially if they're on the longer side. This is great as the legs are still out as it's not too cold yet, but you keep it more casual and comfy with the jumper but you add a little bit of sass with the leather skirt. I will definitely be sporting this look for the next few months.

LOOK TWO
Tartan is one of my favourite prints for colder months, I feel like it's still staying a bit interesting, but brings in those colder colour schemes. It's also super flattering for curvier girls as I find it doesn't emphasis any lumps and bumps. This top, and perfect for a chilled out day shopping or going for lunch with the girls. I love the low v at the front, and the slouchy style. I'm ALL about the slouch in Autumn. Teaming it with high waist tights and tucking it in just feels so me right now a swell. Add a comfy hat and you've got autumn in the bag!

LOOK THREE
When it comes to evening looks in Autumn, I've always been a bit stumped. However, I think the perfect addition to your wardrobe comes from a super flattering jumper dress that can be dressed up and styled out. This bodycon knitted dress it ideal, it's flattering, comfy and has a sexy edge with the low cut front, but it's not too much. I've just paired it with some gorgeous red sandals for a pop of colour and a matching red lip.

Hope you guys enjoyed the post! Let me know how you're moving from summer to autumn and send me your favourite style pieces!!

Much love, Lisa Katharine May xx
