I Did the Great South Run.... And Survived!

Yesterday I completed the Great South Run. Which is a sentence I didn't ever think I would say. When I saw my family after my Dad said "There's no way you would have been able to do that year ago", to which I replied "There's not way I would have been able to do that 6 months ago". And that couldn't be more true. Thousands of people do the run every year, but for me - completing this, and being able to do it just means more to me than I can ever really explain. But I'm going to try anyway...

The Body Shop Pumpkin Vanilla - What Autumn Would Smell Like

Body care is something that definitely isn't a priority for me. It never has been and I think it has more to do with laziness than anything else. So when I find a collection or a product that sends me head over heels, I feel like I have to rave about it. If I find something that makes me want to sit there and put body butter all over me, than I know it's something special.

It's OK to Not Have it All

I've wanted to write something like this for a while, but nothing I wrote seemed to be right, or feel enough, and honestly I was a little scared of the reaction. We're fully in the age of the "girl boss" right now, where quotes such as "you can have it all" are pushed upon women, so much to the point that if we can't figure out how to have it all we feel like a failure in this modern world. Well - I'm a woman - I can't have it all - and that's okay.

THE PCOS Diaries: Friendly Breakfast Smoothie Bowls

I've never really been a morning person. Which generally means I usually sacrifice getting up in time to have breakfast by having those extra few previous moments snuggled in my duvet cocoon. However, when I do get around to having breakfast - I always feel better for the day, more set up and ready to go. Plus, with PCOS it's so important to have all three meals of the day and eat regularly to maintain a steady metabolism and help your insulin than skip pieces. So I thought it was about time I grow up, and get my breakfast hat on.

ColourPop x KathleenLights Zodiac Collection

For the longest time I've wanted to try products from ColourPop. I always see American/Canadian bloggers raving about the brand and their products, but I've always gotten a bit overwhelmed by how much I want to order from them. So when Kathleen Lights bought out a collab with them all around the Zodiac, I knew this was the perfect opportunity to finally place an order.
