A Paisley Tale

top: topshop (old)  |  jeans: lavish alice  |  sandals: faith (old)  |

These trousers have taken me one step closer to being Mollie King. O how I wish. I seem to be becoming her complete and utter style stalker. It's bad for my bank balance and it doesn't help with Lavish Alice tweeting her outfits - bad Lavish Alice!

So, yes, these are my FIRST EVER printed jeans. I took a leap of faith. It's an item of clothing I would never have bought before blogging, so I blame the blogging world. I was a bit dubious about them as I thought because they were light they might make my larger than normal thighs look even larger, however I've been pleasantly surprised. The cut is really flattering. They fit quite well, a little tight but what do you expect when you buys jeans online without trying them. And tbh, I'm trying to loose a bit of weight off the old thighs anywho so they will be a perfect fit soon.

I'm just in love with them. They are so different to everything I own, which seems to be happening more and more lately which I am excited about. They were a complete impulse buy and about an hour later I was wondering what the hell was going through my head. Well it all came good in the end!

I think this needs to be teamed with a simple tee or peplum top, my deep blue blazer and minimal accessories. The jeans are totally the focus so there is no need to overcomplicate them as it takesa way from their utter beauty.

I have to say, I am actually quite impressed with Lavish Alice. This is only the second piece I've bought from them, but it's delivered within 2 working days so there isn't too much waiting around which is nice, and the ladies on twitter are really lovely and helpful to!

So do I look like Mollie yet (ha!)? How would you style these jeans?

On Your Bike

Ok so be shocked - my hair is up! I never ever have photos taken of me when my hair is up. I'm just not comfortable with it and I think it makes my face look rather round eek. However, I thought I'd be a brave girl with this post and I'm not too displeased with the results - yay! I do usually have a side fringe, however it's grown rather long lately so it's usually sweeped up!

So a really simple outfit today. These are my amazing high waist jeans. I got them for my birthday last November and they have fallen off my radar slightly, but I found them on my bathroom floor the other day and it was one of those "o I forgot I had you!" moments! They are really flattering, really comfy and just really great.

I've teamed it with a new blouse from H&M. I've been looking for one like this for yonks! It's actually quite long and I've been wearing with with leggins and a vest underneath. I love the lace detailing on this - as you all know I'm a lover of all things lace so I was always going to fall in love with this!

Now onto my gorgeous lovely ring. I won this beauty in a Twitter competiton from Wonsuponatime. They haven't yet launched so I'm super lucky to have an item of theirs! They launch at the end of August so keep an eye out, you won't be disappointed. Give them a follow on twitter here :) I love her vintage a lot of their pieces look and this one in particular looks like an antique! It's also very apt with the Olympics at the moment!

I think this is a perfect evening with the girls for dinner outfit, I love it and the shoes give it that extra pop of glamour!

How would you wear your high waist jeans?

Purple Haze

Bit of a different style of pictures for me. Well, kinda. Usual outside photo shots, but all landscape for today. I've become a bit meh about my blog lately. Not so much the content, but just the general look and feel. But I've been the same with my wardrobe lately as well so maybe it's just me.

These are my newest Topshop Leigh jeans in a gorgeous deep plum colour. I love Leigh jeans. They hug everything so nicely and yet are so comfortable. A tab pricey at £38 each but I've given myself permission to buy one pair per payday. These are a tad long but they don't tend to them them shorter for my waist which is a pain.

This top is also a newbie, this time from H&M. I spotted in their catalogue and loved it, so when I went up to Cardiff I sent Hanah and myself a mission for finding it. Find it we did, and purchase it I did. I like it cause it's different for me in terms of colour and style. I'm not a huge sequin fan so I took a chance. I like that it's baggy, however both me and the boy have complained of its scratchiness! I think it could be dressed up as well as down. I've already worn it to work with a pair of black trousers and blazer and dressed down like this as well.

I like this little outfit. It's a nice little weekend/shopping outfit and I can't wait for my next pair of Leigh jeans!

What colour Leigh jeans do you have? Which would you recommend?

I'm a little bit in love with Topshops Superskinny Leigh Jeans, as is everyone else I know, and I've been umming and ahhing about getting this colour for a while. When I went to London with the girls I threw caution to the wind and broke my usual black, navy and grey jean pattern. I love this colour. It literally makes the most casual of outfits look stylish. Plus they are ridiculously comfortable. They come in so many different colours, I swear my Mum has them all, and I am lusting over another couple of colours at the moment but I've limited myself to one every pay day!

Thanks to my lovely friend Andra I have discovered the power and beauty of Superdrug accessories - look at my gorgeous tribal necklace - only £2.99. Not kidding, and I haven't stopped wearing it. Ditto the scarf, another Superdrug find for a mere £4.99. Bargain! Again, not stopped wearing it since.
You will also note my lovely Links bracelet with a couple of charms I haven't shown you before. There is my lovely little butterfly that my brother and Hanah got me for Christmas when I got the bracelet, and a graduation hat for when I graduated (stating the obvious there).

Do you have Topshop jeans? What colours are you sporting?

Butterfly Fly Away

Ever since I bought my first pair of Topshop's Supersoft jeans I have been wanting another pair, lots and lots of pairs!
So when I got paid I thought RIGHT, new jeans! My other black jeans are a tad on the tight side these days so I thought I'd be practical and grab me some new black ones :)

Teamed with a casual top it made the perfect outfit for a casual dinner out with the boyf

Love this top from H&M, definite impulse buy and it's so comfy and girly! You can dress it up and down so it's the perfect wardrobe item. Plus it has butterflies on it, and anyone who knows me knows I love my butterflies...
My necklace I love, I got it from a little tent at a sand exhibition for about 5 euros, its really silver and I adore it. Best bargain buy ever!
My lovely little heart bangle was made by my lovely Mummy. She did a silver jewellery making course at college in the Autumn and made us one each. It's very simple, very cute and goes with everything.
And of course my trusty Links charm bracelet :) (review to come on this)

Love this little outfit, so simple, so cute.

What's your new go-to outfit?
