A Vegging Flower
top: topshop | jeans: topshop | bracelet: links |
I seem to have adopted really simple outfits since going back into retail. Probably because I have to wear a uniform everyday so when I get home I just wanna chuck on something simple. This has been quite a staple for me lately - jeans and tee. This outfit is all about this tee.
It's a really cute floral peplum top, from Topshop, for ONLY £12!! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it, I had to have it for that price! It is a tad crop top, so I got it in a size bigger than my usual, but I still have to be careful reaching up or bending over! But I do love it and it's comfy to the max!
I want to apologise for the lack of outfit photos lately! It was a lot easier to do them when I worked in an office as I had to style everyday, but wearing a uniform is kinda restricitng and like I said, when I get back I just wanna veg in something comfy! Having said that, I do love doing outfit posts so I will be bringing these back and making a massive effort to keep these going as I know you guys love them too!
What's your staple outfit at the moment? Are you vegging like me?

Links of London Keepsake Charms
Links of London, Keepsakes Wishbone Charm £35*
We all know I love my Links. I wear my Links bracelet near on every day and I'm always looking for new charms for birthdays or christmas. I want my charms to have meaning behind them, which is why I'm so excited about Links of London's new Keepsakes collection. Each charm in the new collection has a little meaning behind it - which I love!
Links offered me the chance to choose a charm, and with basically restarting my career path at the moment I thought I could do with all the luck I could get - so I went for a lucky wishbone! It has "Make a Wish" written up one side of it (sorry, I couldn't get a fab picture of that, stupid camera) and I just love it. As you can see it's settled safely on my Links bracelet with my other charms!
I have popped my top 3 favourites from the Keepsakes collection below, I've based these on what I would personally get at the moment, which is anything to do with luck and also my birthday in November! I am a sucker for anything scorpio!
There are so many charms I love that you can use for mums to be, birthdays etc - there's a huge range to choose from! Just click here to have a look!
Shooting Star Charm £35 | Lucky Horseshoe Charm £45 | Zodiac Pebble Scorpio Charm £45

Wedding Butterflies

dress: dorothy perkins | cardigan: french connection | shoes: new look | bracelets: lola rose, links of london, pia | necklace: lola rose
One of my cousins recently got married, the first of all of I might add! It was a really really lovely day. They church was so pretty, and although I personally won't be getting married in a church (nothing wrong with it, just not for me), it was a gorgeous church and a lovely ceremony. The reception was help in a marquee with draped ceilings and chandeliers, which I loved. I don't get to see my cousins a lot so it was really nice to see them, catch up and spend the day with family!
This was my wedding outfit. I first heard about this dress from my friend Amber who said "Oh my god, I saw this gorgeous maxi dress in a magazine and it has your name on it, it's blue with butterflies!", so I went on a hunt because let's face it - blue and butterflies is o so me. I found it on the Dorothy Perkins site and fell in love, instantly, and my lovely Mummy bought it for me for the wedding.
Now, as you can see it isn't blue. I got home and my Mum went "your dress is upstairs" so I raced upstairs and my first reaction was WHAT IT'S GREEN! I don't have a lot of green. However, after trying it on I realised how perfect it was. The colour compliments me so well and the silhouette is so flattering. And let's not forget the butterflies. I would like to say that on the website it does look blue - honestly! I went and double checked, but the description on the website does say Mint Green. Note to self: read the descriptions!
On hindsight I'm so glad it was green. It's so completely un-Lisa it's perfect. I wasn't sure about the black edging at first, but now I think it just adds to its beauty. It adds a bit of an edge to it so it's not just floaty pretty.
I'm so glad I wore this to the wedding. I was planning on my waterfall dress seen here, however about 80% of the female guests were in waterfall dresses - so quite glad I decided not to! It was perfect as it wasn't the warmed/sunniest of days so a maxi kept me warm, and yet didn't overheat me on the dance floor!
What do you think of the colour? Would you wear this to a wedding?

Pale Jeans
top H&M: jeans Topshop: scarf Superdrug: necklace Superdrug: bracelet Links of London: earrings Accessorize: nails Bourjois: shoes New Look
I'm a little bit in love with Topshops Superskinny Leigh Jeans, as is everyone else I know, and I've been umming and ahhing about getting this colour for a while. When I went to London with the girls I threw caution to the wind and broke my usual black, navy and grey jean pattern. I love this colour. It literally makes the most casual of outfits look stylish. Plus they are ridiculously comfortable. They come in so many different colours, I swear my Mum has them all, and I am lusting over another couple of colours at the moment but I've limited myself to one every pay day!
Thanks to my lovely friend Andra I have discovered the power and beauty of Superdrug accessories - look at my gorgeous tribal necklace - only £2.99. Not kidding, and I haven't stopped wearing it. Ditto the scarf, another Superdrug find for a mere £4.99. Bargain! Again, not stopped wearing it since.
You will also note my lovely Links bracelet with a couple of charms I haven't shown you before. There is my lovely little butterfly that my brother and Hanah got me for Christmas when I got the bracelet, and a graduation hat for when I graduated (stating the obvious there).
Do you have Topshop jeans? What colours are you sporting?

May Favourites
Have been somewhat inspired by a range of blogs to do a little favourites post that I'll pop up at the beginning of every month to show my favourites posts from the month before.
One of the reasons I'd really love to do this is to let people know what I loved writing or trialing, my favourites products or outfits or just what I loved in May. I love reading this on others so I thought 'why not?!' so here I go :)
Here are my top 5 posts from May
Here are my top 5 posts from May
First up is my review on Liz Earle's Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser which you can find here. The reason I chose this for number one is just because of how much I truly love the product. I has become a staple in my skin care routine and cannot recommend it highly enough.
This is somewhat sentimental for me as it was the first review I was asked to do by the brands PR company (and what a lovely PR company they are!). It was a very exciting moment for me, I love Links & the Olympics so was the perfect first review which you can find here.
Probably my favourite outfit post to date. I just love this dress from New Look - it's so flattering and has definitely got me loving the waterfall trend. Was a lovely event I wore this for as well (my Pappy's 80th) so just a great post for me. Loving the outfit which you can see more of here.
The reason I love this post is because it was slightly different for me. I love photographing my jewellery and the accessories I wear within outfit posts so this was great to do one specifically on the jewellery I got from Accessorize. I really love the photos (specifically the one above) as well. See more here.
This isn't one of my most highly viewed posts, but I just love this outfit. The Topshop dress is so so cute and one of my faves and this post also reminds me of what a great day this was. Take a peek here.
Which of my May posts did you like the most? Have I missed your favourite?

His Favourite
The boy decided to be a gentleman and take me out for dinner on Wednesday night, so I thought as a 'thank you' I would wear his favourite dress of mine...
dress H&M (old)
wedges TOPSHOP (old)
bag NEW LOOK (old)
ring PIA (old)
bangle MUM MADE
Firstly I would like to apologise for the dress as it CLEARLY needs ironing, however the boy was rushing me as he was hungry so I didnt have time to iron it after it's been all creased in my wardrobe.
Bad blogger.
I have this dress in this pattern and another one which I am sure I'll be posting about at some point this summer.
If I remember correctly it was about £15 (?). It's so comfy and really easy to just relax in or dress up as you can see here. My only thing about it - when you stand directly in the sun you can see through it, not completely, just the outlines - but still!
The ring I don't think I have shown you all before... It was a present from the boy on our 2 year anniversary (we are over 4 years now...) and I really love it. It's blue topaz which is my birthstone (and blog name!)
Unfortunately it is all cracked at the back so I can't wear it as much as I used to.
These sunglasses are one of my newest finds... My lovely Mummy bought them for me when we had a little girly shopping trip. I have been after a pair of wayfarers for SO long but found none that suited - until now, so my Mummy treated me and I haven't stopped wearing them since :) They have turned into my summer must-have!
What's your boys favourite outfit? Have you found your summer must-have yet?

Links of London GB Collection
Those who know me know I love my Links of London bracelet and love their charms. So when they asked me to review their GB collection I jumped at the chance. Not only do I love Links, but I love the Olympics and I'm lucky enough to be going in August to see the male swimmers (o yum!) so this really was the dream offer for me.
Links of London have teamed up with the Olympics to be the creators of the Official Jewellery Collection 2012 and they've come up with this fantastic collection.
I really love this band. It's so patriotic and just fits really nicely. I love how it arrived. It came with a lovely Links of London GB gift bag and came presented in what (to me) looked like a test tube...! But was really very cool.
For £20 as well it's well worth getting to show your support for Team GB! I will definitely be wearing this to see the male swimmers... aka my future husbands!
I have been sporting this bracelet since I received it and I really do love it, I have had so many compliments already! It's comfortable, stylish and I feel very patriotic wearing it!
This is the rest of the collection. I love the fact that it isn't just restricted to charms but you can also get beads as well as handbag charms and a keyring.Unfortunately last time I looked the slim bead was out of stock... But the rest is still available!
My favourite charm in the collection is probably the Paralympics Disc Charm, may have to invest in that as well at some point...
I also love the Team GB keyring, I am a bit of a keyring collector so I have a feeling this piece will accidently end up on my keys sometime soon...
I love all the colours and I feel so patriotic just looking at the collection!

If you're a Links lover, or even if not, I would definitely recommend this collection... TEAM GB FOR THE WIN!

Butterfly Fly Away
Ever since I bought my first pair of Topshop's Supersoft jeans I have been wanting another pair, lots and lots of pairs!
So when I got paid I thought RIGHT, new jeans! My other black jeans are a tad on the tight side these days so I thought I'd be practical and grab me some new black ones :)
Teamed with a casual top it made the perfect outfit for a casual dinner out with the boyf
Top H&M
Jeans Topshop
Necklace Boutique in Portugal
Bangle Made by Mum
Love this top from H&M, definite impulse buy and it's so comfy and girly! You can dress it up and down so it's the perfect wardrobe item. Plus it has butterflies on it, and anyone who knows me knows I love my butterflies...
My necklace I love, I got it from a little tent at a sand exhibition for about 5 euros, its really silver and I adore it. Best bargain buy ever!
My lovely little heart bangle was made by my lovely Mummy. She did a silver jewellery making course at college in the Autumn and made us one each. It's very simple, very cute and goes with everything.
And of course my trusty Links charm bracelet :) (review to come on this)
Love this little outfit, so simple, so cute.
What's your new go-to outfit?
