Jubilee Outfit

I thought I should do something somewhat patriotic so I've done a little jubilee outfit post!
Now, I'm probably going to go against everyone here and say I'm just not that bothered about the Jubilee (I'm sorry please don't shoot me!)... I'm incredibly excited about the Olympics but not so much the Jubilee.. However I thought I'd get into the spirit and do this post!

I usually get the boy to take my photos for me, however I nabbed my friend Amber this time and I love the photos, bit more natural then my usual stand and pose! Arthur joined in on the action as well, as you can see!

This is a very casual jubilee outfit as I wasn't really doing much this day. I love popping these three colours together, I think it is really striking and very patriotic at the moment!

I have this skirt in about 5 different colours, they are so useful and can either be dressed up or down ridiculously easily.
O, and yes that is reindeer on my cardigan pocket - who says Christmas cardi's and jumpers are only for December?

I hope you all had a fantastic long bank holiday weekend :) I had a lovely one which involved family, drink, cinema, drink, wii, drink, pub, drink, aquarium, drink, clubbing, drink and bowling! (no more drink...)

Raspberrygrape Vintage Ring

Since my favourite ring that used to live on my middle finger has basically died a horrible death, I have become more and more into costume jewellery rings. Especially vintage looking ones.
So when Raspberrygrape.com asked me to review one of their pieces I jumped at the chance to nab one of their turquoise vintage rings.

Vintage Style Turquoise Ring*

It came all lovingly packaged in tissue paper and a little card thanking me for my interest, which I through was such a nice touch and showed Lauren (raspberrygrape) really took the time with it and cared about it.

I love the shape of this ring, it's just so girly! And I do love girly... I also love the colour of the stone. It just goes with SO much including my lovely creamy dresses (which I seem have an abundance of...)

I also love the fact that it isn't too big as I'm just getting back into my ring fetish...

Unfortunately it was broken when it came in the post :( the back was apart from the front, I managed to slot it together for these photos but it now needs to be super glued - obviously not raspberrygrape fault... Definitely the post mans fault!

Raspberrygrape is a tiny company with some really cute, gorgeous pieces. It is rather unique and Lauren has some really equilectic collection. I desperately want to buy myself a bracelet with my name spelled on it... And it doesn't cost a fortune! It is so reasonable. I would definitely recommend them - just make sure your postie is a jewellery lover as well though!

What do you love from Raspberrygrape?

His Favourite

The boy decided to be a gentleman and take me out for dinner on Wednesday night, so I thought as a 'thank you' I would wear his favourite dress of mine...

Firstly I would like to apologise for the dress as it CLEARLY needs ironing, however the boy was rushing me as he was hungry so I didnt have time to iron it after it's been all creased in my wardrobe.
Bad blogger.

I have this dress in this pattern and another one which I am sure I'll be posting about at some point this summer.
If I remember correctly it was about £15 (?). It's so comfy and really easy to just relax in or dress up as you can see here. My only thing about it - when you stand directly in the sun you can see through it, not completely, just the outlines - but still!

The ring I don't think I have shown you all before... It was a present from the boy on our 2 year anniversary (we are over 4 years now...) and I really love it. It's blue topaz which is my birthstone (and blog name!)
Unfortunately it is all cracked at the back so I can't wear it as much as I used to.

These sunglasses are one of my newest finds... My lovely Mummy bought them for me when we had a little girly shopping trip. I have been after a pair of wayfarers for SO long but found none that suited - until now, so my Mummy treated me and I haven't stopped wearing them since :) They have turned into my summer must-have!

What's your boys favourite outfit? Have you found your summer must-have yet?

Slate & Lace

Here is my little outfit I wore for a night out for my friends 21st on Good Friday. I absolutely loved it and it's so different to what I usually wear out - standard is usually black bodycon skirt and a nice top.

I really liked this outfit, was so comfortable and stylish, and also really cute thanks to Andra's top I stole (hmm may not give it back...) Add some trust Lola Rose and we're in business! Was really comfortable to dance in and surprisingly so were the shoes... My GORGEOUS new Miss Selfridge shoes!

Let me know what you think :)
