Outfit | The Little Winter Green

Ok, so maybe shorts isn't the best idea in this weather. However I was dying to put this outfit together and wear it. I'm going to be all doom and gloom here and say I HATE my thighs in these photos but hey - I like the outfit so pish posh.

I've had this playsuit for over two years now and only really wear it for special occassions as it's more of a smart one. My boyfriend hates it, I love it - so standard for my wardrobe really! I recently got this gorgeous mint green jumper from Topshop with some Christmas vouchers and have worn it so much since. It's perfect for under collars and it's so warm, it's like triple quilted so very warm (this also means it takes two days to dry boo).

I wore this outfit to go and see the lovely Paige from Paige Joanna for a bit of tea and cake (coffee for me) down in her home town of Southsea. We thought it would be the perfect opportunity to do some outfit pics. My legs were chilly, however my top half was very warm thanks to this cutie jumper. Thumbs up indeed!

How would you style this jumper?

Outfit | A Structured Tulip

dress: Miss Selfridge | belt: topshop | heels: new look | bracelet: swarovski | ring: lola rose

Well would you look at that - two outfit posts in one week aren't you lucky. I couldn't wait to show you guys this dress. If you follow me on instagram (@topazandmay) you will have seen this dress a few weeks ago and i've had some lovely compliments on it. I bought it for my boyfriend's Mum's 50th birthday party, where it got even more compliments!

I love tulip dresses, for me they really suit my figure, they nip in at the waist and out on the bum - hiding my big bum! This dress is so comfortable as well, it's quite thick material so perfect for the colder months. I really really do love this dress.

One teeny tiny little snag - about half way through the night the seam broke around my bum area and it now has a hole... really easy to sew up and fix, just a bit annoying when it's the first time I've worn it and it's not exactly tight over the bum area. Sad sad times.

What's your favourite style of dress?

Slate & Lace

Here is my little outfit I wore for a night out for my friends 21st on Good Friday. I absolutely loved it and it's so different to what I usually wear out - standard is usually black bodycon skirt and a nice top.

I really liked this outfit, was so comfortable and stylish, and also really cute thanks to Andra's top I stole (hmm may not give it back...) Add some trust Lola Rose and we're in business! Was really comfortable to dance in and surprisingly so were the shoes... My GORGEOUS new Miss Selfridge shoes!

Let me know what you think :)

Top: Topshop (Andra's wardrobe...)
Earrings: TU at Sainsbury's
Ring: Accessorize (Andra's wardrobe...)

Outfit: Tribal At Its Best

Necklace - Lola Rose
Bracelet - Lola Rose
Ring - Accessorize
Shoes - Topshop

Tribal is hot for Spring right now and this is my fabulous new Miss Selfridge maxi dress. I broke my 'no clothes shopping' lent for this and it was well worth it - the boyf even agrees (kinda!). It is ridiculously comfy and looks amazing.
I bought my wedges as an investment last summer from Topshop and were one of my best ever buys - incredibly high but comfy!
My Lola Rose jewellery is gorgeous... I absolutely love it and have a few pieces but these ones bring out the turquoise in the dress and is really different.
My nail varnish is from the blog yesterday - Chanel's 'June' shade, it is gooorgeous and really contrasts the dress.

Hope you love the outfit as much as I do!
