Blogmas #2: Gift Guide - For the Home

Tis the season for giving gifts - and I LOVE it. One of my favourite things about Christmas is thinking about the perfect gift for the person, and then seeing their face when they open it. Since owning my own property gifts for the home have been a big hit for me. I love little presents for the house, and getting home gifts from people you love just adds something extra to the home. So why not do this at Christmas?

Now you don't have to stick to giving Christmas themed presents, you an mix it up, but a range I love is TJ Hughes Christmas Gifts - you can basically get a gift for everyone, whether it' for the home, beauty gifts or style pieces. I love their home gifts, and I've picked my top five to show you.

Now it's getting a little (a lot) colder, a throw is the perfect gift. I know I'm currently writing with a throw across my lap all snuggled up. Incidentally - this  grey reindeer throw*. It's the perfect Christmas addition to add to the home, as it adds some subtle Christmas flair, and makes the room feel festive. It's also only £14.99, so it's not going to break the bank. In addition, a funky Christmas cushion is always going to be a winner. This Ho Ho Ho reindeer one* (sensing a theme here) is absolutely adorable and I think it makes a great little gift for someone. It's not a super large cushion so it's easy to wrap, and I think it goes well with the throw, is only £7.99 and again adds some festive flair to your room.

Something a little bit different - that my bestie has her eye on - is this adorable, super cute and really chic wooden reindeer heart*. Again with the reindeers. Basically any gift with a reindeer on it is a winner. I really love this sign, and I think the wooden aspect makes it look really classy. It also lights up - I KNOW! I think this is a great present for someone who likes simple house decorations, and doesn't want anything super colourful or in your face. Plus - it's only £7.99 so it's a bargain!

Now, if you don't want to go down the Christmas decoration route, then TJ Hughes also have some awesome gifts for the home that can stay out all year around. First of all these slate heart coasters* are so cute, and neutral so they can go in most homes. They look really expensive, but are actually only £5 so make a great stocking filler, or secret Santa. And last, but not least, are these photo string lights* - totally up my street and the perfect gift for anyone who likes photos or has a polaroid camera. They're really cute, just a little something sweet that again can be up all year around and is only £5 again.

I love a good home gift, and finding somewhere that does great quality gifts for reasonable prices. I hope this has helped - and if not, don't worry - there's still more gift guides to come throughout the next couple of weeks!

Much love, Lisa May x
