The Review | Cosmopolitan's Debut Fragrance

Something very exciting came through my door the other day. When I was asked to review a fragrance I was like sure, why not. Then when I found out it was Cosmopolitans debut fragrance I got really quite excited. I do love a good copy of Cosmo, so the idea of epitomising the cosmo woman into a scent? Sounds like a plan to me.

Cosmopolitan, The Fragrance* is targeted at the typical Cosmopolitan reader, as you'd expect. Young women who are exciting and stylish and I think the scent does reflect it's target audience from first impressions.

The bottom is just so cute. It's a cut-glass design with a pink/orange ombre glow that is really fun and I do actually love this style. It's the colour that really sells the bottle to me, the rest of it doesn't stand out too much to me if I'm honest but the colouring brings it all together.

In terms of the fragrance itself, I really like it. It has a fresh citrus burst, which gives way to sweet and spicy lingering notes - which I like. The top notes are mandarin, bergamot and red berries, with the heart as jasmine and heliotrope, and then we get pimento berries and carrot seed. The base has patchouli, vanilla and tonka - so quite a mix but it does work quite well. I am a fan.

The Cosmopolitan Fragrance is exclusive to Boots and you can purchase it here. It's available 30, 50 and 100ml volumes, ranging from £20-£38 so it's also a really affordable offering. There will also be a couple of gift sets coming closer to Christmas which will include shower gels, body lotions and purse sprays so keep an eye out for that!
