The Haul | Space NK Mini Spree

Not going to lie, this really was a very mini spree! I had some points to spend on my N.Dulge card so I decided to put them to good use and chose a couple of products I'd never tried before, but really wanted to. Luckily, there was also a deal on at the time as well so I got even more pennies off. It was definitely a meant to be kind of an order.

The first thing I picked up was one of the Hourglass Ambient Blushes as I have been fighting with myself for a long time about whether or not I could justify purchasing one. But you know, vouchers and lack of will power won out. I've been a little obsessed with blushes at the moment so that didn't help... I picked up Luminous Flush which is a very pretty, light pink with some lovely highlight running through it. When I initially swatched it I didn't see much pay off, but putting it on the cheeks it definitely shows up. I was majorly impressed with pigmentation. I also really love the packaging - although it feels a little more cheaper than I was expecting.
First Impressions Score: 5/5

Secondly I picked up the new Laura Mercier Artist Eye Palette. This caught my eye as I don't really have any of those types of colours in my collection, and honestly I really just wanted to try something from the brand. I did really like the mix of colours, the purples are beautiful and the browns really versatile. However, I don't think I've really used it that much as I just didn't feel like it bested some of my other favourite palettes that I use on a daily basis. The packaging is really pretty, and it is a lovely palette, but for me it's probably one to use for more special occasions and probably not one for a long day at work as it just didn't last as long as I would hope.
First Impressions Score: 3/5

What have you bought from Space NK lately that you'd recommend?
