Lip liner is never something I thought I would need in my collection, however these little budget beauties have completely changed my mind. These products seem to be having a bit of a moment right now, especially one certain colour, which is why I decided to pick them up - was the fuss worth it?
The Rimmel Exaggerate Full Colour Lip Liners boast a soft textured, fine tipped liner that gives ull volume and definition to the lips. I picked up two colours, East End Snob and Obsessed - East End Snob being hailed as a dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury Pillowtalk Lip Liner and a great Kylie Jenner drug store lip liner. East End Snob is definitely a nature, pink nude with a touch of mauve running through it. It's a very pretty colour and one I've been wearing on it's own with a touch of balm underneath. Obsessed is a rich, deep browny plum - like nothing else I have in my collection - and beautiful.
I've used a couple of liners before and just found them really drying so I was a touch nervous about using these, however I needent have worried. These are super soft to apply and really comfortable on the lips. They are so easy to apply and line the lips, and they fill them in nicely as well without patchiness or dryness. I then either leave them on their own, or I pop a gloss or lipstick on top - depending on my mood. If I wear them on their own I do prep my lips before by adding a balm and it just helps to prime the lips and assist with an easy application. It also means you don't get a fully matte lip.
I have been OBSESSED (no pun intended) with these since I got them. I love Obsessed as it's so different from everything else I have and is such a nice everyday dark colour. I was a bit dubious about East End Snob first as it is very similar to my natural lip colour, however I've been wearing this most days and it's just about run out.... Seeing as I've only had it for about two weeks I'll take that as a good sign!
What other drugstore lip liners should I be picking up?
