The Review | Budget Highlighting Blush

Baked blushes are absolutely beautiful, I mean just look at them. The way they look screams buy me to me. However, there is of course more to them than their looks! I feel like baked blushes are so much easier to apply and so much longer lasting then others I've tried, and they are also so much more natural on the cheeks as well.

These particular beauties are a new offering from Max Factor. I love Max Factor blushes anyway, but these have stolen my heart. These are the Creme Puff Blush's in the shades Gorgeous Berries (L) and Seductive Pink (R). There's six shades all together and quite honestly I want to buy the other four already. What I love most about these blushes isn't the amazing colour pay off, their long last properties or its budget price tag - it's the amazing highlighting properties that are incorporated in this product. A lot of people have hailed these as dupes for the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders and that is because of this. As well as a beautiful shade on the cheeks, they really subtly highlight the cheeks and I love how natural it looks as well.

To begin with I thought I would love Gorgeous Berries the most, however after using these for a couple of weeks I think Seductive Pink is definitely my favourite. I don't usually go for pale pink blushes but this looks so pretty with my skin tone and I'm so glad I picked this one up as well.

I would definitely recommend these blushes. If you want a gorgeous natural flush of colour with a subtle and easy highlight these are right up your street. For just £8.99 each you can't really go wrong either! Now which colour should I pick next....

Which colour would you choose?

  1. I love wearing baked blushers & these look really pretty. I did swatch a few shades in Boots & was blown away at how pigmented they are. I need to get a couple for Spring!
