The Life | Taking a Christmassy Moment

Sometimes you just need to take some time, and that's what I've been doing. Taking some time to step back and just breathe. Well, breathe from the blog anyway. That's not a bad thing, sometimes if you take a few moments and just do nothing with something it can be the best thing you can do.

This time of year can get busy for everyone. Christmas can be stressful whether its battling the crowds doing last minute Christmas shopping, or organising the family trips. For me November and December are just ridiculous every year. November this year was even worse. It started off with me starting a new job, which is great but definitely an adjustment and shattering, and then my besties engagement party. We haven't had a single Saturday since Halloween when we've been able to sit and watch Strictly live - that's how busy we've been.

It's been difficult, and that's why blogging has taken somewhat of a back seat, but I know I need to start taking a few minutes and take a breath. Preferably with a lovely chocolately glass of goodness, topped with melting marshmellows and cinnamon. Yum. Whether it's daily, or just an hour every weekend, making some time for yourself to just sit down, stop thinking, and chill makes such a difference to your state of mind. It's been something I've been struggling with all year, but this past month I've made myself. It's helped me clear my mind, focus and I'm finally starting to feel like myself again.

Just in time for Christmas.... So grab a Christmassy mug, top it up with some lovely spice and put your feet up. You deserve it.
