Wedding | The Perfect Scent

When I started planning my wedding one of the first things I started to think about was exactly how I wanted to look and feel on that day. I then saw that a "wedding scent" is apparently a thing now so not only did I start to imagine how I looked, I also started to imagine how I smelt... So how do you go about choosing your wedding scent?

I'm not going to lie, when I started to think about my wedding scent there was only one place I really thought of going, and that was Jo Malone. Especially as I saw that they have some lace designed bottles, specifically for brides. You know me, I do love my lace so I couldn't really say no... It'd be rude.

So I went with my parents to go and have a look at a store in London and what scents were available with the lace bottle. There were only certain scents available, and after a while I got so confused with all the scents. The two I was torn between was Orange Blossom and Peony & Blush Suede. I loved the citrus notes of Orange Blossom, but also the floral softness of Peony & Blush Suede. So I had to take a step back and re-imagine how I wanted to look on my day, and ultimately that's what you have to remember. So whilst I liked Orange Blossom, I ended up going with Peony & Blush Suede. The delicateness of the scent matched the feel I wanted for my day, and the lace I knew I wanted on my dress. It was also subtle enough that it would go with any flowers I'd decide to have on the day as well. It's such a pretty scent and I absolutely adore it. They also recommended I use the body cream as well as it'll help to lengthen the time the scent stays.

This is my first Jo Malone scent, and honestly I'm so excited to wear it. I'm in love with the product and I can't wait to spray in on my big day.

Where would you go for your wedding scent?
