Beauty | 2015 Stand Out Products

I've not bought as many new products, or explored as many new products this year as I have previously, but I think it's because I'm really committing to products much more now, so I have fallen in love with some amazing products that I want to share with you.

As a beauty blogger there is a certain expectation, and compulsion, to try lots and lots of beauty products. So when there are those products who get picked up again and again, you know they're winners.

FACE | Finding the perfect foundation is always a tough one, finding one that doesn't break the bank is just a cherry on the top of the cake, this year I found one. The L'Oreal Infallible Matte Foundation was a new release this year and everyone went a bit crazy for it, and I'm one of them. It's a good coverage, lightweight and really long lasting. It also keeps my oily skin at bay which I love. To top it off I also found a concealer that I fell in love with, the Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Concealer, which has been hiding my dark eyes all year long. Thank you Maybelline, thank you.

CHEEKS | This year I've really gotten into blushes, bronzers, highlighters etc. and I'm loving it - this was really hard to narrow down, but there were some products that really jumped out at me. The Maybelline Master Sculpt has completely changed my contouring ways. The contour and highlight shade compliment each other completely, last all day and blends perfectly and naturally. It also isn't too harsh on the bank balance. Not so healthy for the bank balance are the blushes I've been in love with this year, Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes. They are a work of art in themselves, but they are beautiful on the cheeks. They look really natural, are really long lasting and just oh so pretty.

EYES | I've really had fun with my eyes this year, with different looks and different colours and I've loved it. One palette in particular won my heart, the Maybelline The Nudes Palette is an amazing everyday nude palette that I have been obsessed with. There are a great selection of colours for all different uses and really good quality as well. They are giving the Naked palettes a run for their money. On the higher end of the scale the single eyeshadows I'm loving are the hugely hyped By Terry Ombre Blackstars - beautiful and really good quality eyeshadow sticks that stay put all day, with their full intensity. They are pricey, but definitely worth it. I'm still loving my Collection liner so no new liners this year, but I have fallen for a new budget mascara - another Maybelline offering - the Lash Sensational Mascara - an amazing lengthening, curling mascara that lasts all day and I love it more than the higher end ones. Definitely a winner.

LIPS | I wasn't as into lips this year as I have been previously, however this was the year I really got into lip liners and how versatile they can really be. I couldn't choose between two brands for this, both are really long lasting, comfortable to wear and come in some gorgeous colours. The Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liners, especially in East End Snob, are amazing, as are the Topshop Lip Liners. Both purse friendly and really great. To be honest there hasn't been a stand out lipstick for me this year, there's not really anything that comes to mind - even when I look through my draw. I have however gotten back into lip glosses and balms this year, in particular I have fallen in love with the Mac Cremesheen Glass Lipglosses. They look amazing on and come in some super colours, they last for ages, not too sticky and are just super pretty.

I'm so excited to discover new products in 2016 - if you have any suggestions then let me know as I'd love to try them all!
