Mischa Barton Lemon Zest Body Butter

I have to say I'm incredibly impressed with June's 'She Said Beauty' box. Aprils and I didn't quite get on as well as I wanted, but me and June are best buds - especially due to this product.

As seen here I gave a rave review for Mischa Barton's Luscious Lips so when I found out I would be getting another part of her cosmetics collection I was very excited. Luckily I was justified in this excitement.
I prefer body butters to lotions as I feel they do more for my skin and they just feel nicer and I have been using the Body Shop's Body Butters for years. This feels totally different and in a fantastic way.
It feels softer and absorbs into the skin a lot easier. You only need a small amount which means this product will last for a while, justifying the price for me.
Now onto the smell - oh.my.god. It's amazing. Literally amazing. I love citrus smells, but only if they are subtle and this is exactly that. I find myself smelling my arms throughout the day just to get a whiff. It doesn't last all day, around 3 hours I would say but the moisture lasts.
Arthur appears to love this product as well. After I put it on he was there trying to lick me for ages afterwards and following me around - a good sign I think!

I would definitely recommend this product. My skins feels smother, and more moisturized. I love the smell and the texture.
It is also available in Aqua Mist, Coco Cinnamon and Violet Vision. I would definitely love to try this in Coco Cinnamon, especially around Christmas time.

Overall, love this product - thanks She Said Beauty & Mischa's Place!

What scent would you like to try? Have you tried her body butters?

Special Blues

Anyone who knows me knows I find it incredibly hard to resist a good buy from H&M, so when I saw this seriously cute playsuit I just had to have it. All my money worries went flying out of the window and in came this beauty...

blazer H&M
playsuit H&M
shoes NEW LOOK
necklace LOLA ROSE
bracelet RASPBERRYGRAPE
earrings ACCESSORIZE
belt LEVI

Okay so this playsuit is special and has now taken residence in a very special place in my heart for absolute favourite outfits. Not only is it blue (and i LOVE blue), not only is it aztec and summer, but it is so versatile as well. In this post I've got it all dressed for work, but if I wanted I could wear it down the beach with sandals, or just for a day out with a cardy and sandals, lounge it down with a comfy jumper (which is actually what I'm doing right this second) or dress it up big style with some wedges and a blazer. Therefore = special.
Plus it is just o so perdy! Just totally in love with it.

I would like to draw your attention to something else a little bit special in this post as well which you'll find on my wrist. I absolutely love this bracelet. It was made especially for me by Lauren over at www.raspberrygrape.com and I haven't take it off since I got it (except for the shower & sleep). I'm hoping that this will help one of the boys grandparents to call me 'Lisa' instead of 'Liza' as well, you never know - a girl can dream! (it's only been four and half years but o well!)

What's taken residence in that special place in your heart at the moment?

Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover

I know everyone has probably already seen way too many posts about this product, and I know it's probably not the first of its kind to ever exist - but I still love it and felt like I just had to pop in my two cents about it.

Bourjois Magic Nail Varnish Remover, £4.99 from Boots

Okay so be prepared for a little bit of a love letter (well, almost). It doesn't get rid of nail varnish in 1 second, I'll start by saying that. However it is very quick. You literally stick you finger in, rub it around a bit, pull it out and voila - clean nail!
I'm not the only one fascinated by this either, I showed the boy and my big brother and they were actually very impressed which is definitely saying something!
I'm not going to say too much on this as, as I have said before, you've probably all already heard it. What I will say however is do NOT sniff the pot directly - it'll nearly knock you out. However, feel free to smell your fingers after using it as that's when you get your red fruit and vanilla fragrance.

Enjoy!

Do you love this as much as me? Have you found something better?

Little Cream Dress

Ideally I would have liked to have done this dress as a lovely summer outfit, all cute and spinny - however the weather had other plans so I managed to adapt into a bit of a autumn/winter wonder. Well, to be honest I'm wearing it so it's also an English Summer wonder!!

Before I pop these up I would like to apologize for lack of amazingness with accessory photos that I usually do, this literally had the one necklace and the lighting was so bad I couldn't get any that looked great - sorry! I promise to be back on form soon :)

cardigan NEW LOOK
leggins TOPSHOP
boots NEW LOOK
necklace TOPSHOP

So this is my lovely new Topshop dress that I got for a fantastic £20 which I thought was a bargain. I originally tried it on in a slate colour and thought "O I really like it but I wish it was cream..." then as I was putting it back I found a cream one - meant to be! I have to say it is quite short, but that might just be cause I have a big arse so it's shorter then it is meant to be - hint to bum, get smaller!
It is also available in slate and black.

The boy got his photographer on in these pictures, he was trying to direct me which resulted in some fairly peculiar ones (which I have deleted) and some nice ones which I have obviously included. Am definitely going to try and get a bit more adventurous with my poses as everyone seemed to like it in my last one :)

What would you pair your little cream dress with?

No7 Eye Make-Up Remover

Boots keep giving me No7 vouchers, so I have of course been utilising these vouchers! My first I spent very wisely and bought myself their Eye Make Up Remover which comes highly recommended by a number of bloggers so thought I'd give it a whirl!

I was very intrigued to try this as I've used eye make up removers before, usually the wipes, and they have been pretty average - nothing special. So I really wanted this to be fantastic.
It has a dual action formula which helps to condition the skin as well as cleanse and removing all eye make up including waterproof mascara. You have to give it a good shake before you use it.
Pop it on a cotton pad and remove eye make up as you would anything else.

I'm just going to go ahead and say I was a little bit disappointed by this product after all of its stellar reviews.
It's quite hard to mix, you have to really shake it up and there have been a few instances when I've put it on the pad and some of the liquid is clean and some is blue.
It is very easy to use however. It does get rid of everything which is exactly what you want and you can use it on a cotton bud as well to get rid of those tricky areas. If it hasn't mixed properly it doesn't work as well as it should, which I have to say is probably about 50% of the time, when it is mixed properly though it's great.
It is also incredibly oily - this probably helps get rid of make up - however I have to use my cleanser after this to make sure all oil is gone. This does put me off a little bit I have to say, I have quite oily skin anyway so this doesn't really help.
It is better then any of the wipes I used to use so it is the best eye make up removed I have tried, and for only £2.75 with the voucher I can't complain too much. I am also still using it so I don't hate it! Like I said, it does work and it came in very handy when I poken myself in the eye with my mascara and had black everywhere... it took that off very easily and quickly! But it's just not as amazing as I hoped... Sorry!

I am still looking for my perfect eye make up remover, this hasn't filled that void for me I'm afraid! Like I said, it does work and it does get rid of everything, but the oil just really puts me off and its inability to mix half the time is just not worth its usual price for me.

What eye make-up removers would you recommend for me?
