NO7 BB LIPS IN BLUSH CORAL AND BLUSH PINK £8.50 each

After seeing these little lip products on Rebecca's blog I was intrigued, then a  little tipsy visit into the Boots at Waterloo I seemed to have bought two shades - opps!

So, BB is something that has been around the block, I don't have anything against them and I think in this weather they are ideal - either that or a tinted moisturiser anyway. So having a lip product claim to be a BB I was intrigued. If anything I think it's more suitable as a lip balm - because it's a balm. Stating the obvious but you know!

Anywho, so I'm not a huge fan of squeeze and spread applications anyway, so I'm not a fan of that, but the product itself I really do love. It's comfortable on the lips and I love that it has SPF in it. The colour isn't too pigmented either, it's just enough to tint the lips and give a subtle colour.

Blush Coral is a gorgeous pale coral, very subtle and really easy to wear and suitable for all skin types. Blush Pink, the darkest in the range, it's a gorgeous deep pink that is perfect for something a little dressier, but still (you guessed it) subtle!

Overall I do love these, they are perfect for the weather at the moment, protecting the lips as well as becoming a gorgeous summer staples shade. A little pricey for a gloss, but they were buy one get one half price, and I had a cheeky No7 voucher - so really it cost me £9 for the both of them - not bad!

So, I've been getting requests as to when this is coming back onto T&M so yes - Any Size will be back! It went away for a little while as it was getting harder and harder to organise and collate everything, however I've missed doing it. I love the idea behind it and I've always had such good feedback - so I'm desperate to bring it back!

If you've not heard of it before, basically there are four bloggers a week of four different sizes who are given the same style to put together. The idea behind it is to show that all bloggers of all sizes are gorgeous in their own way and can be stylish no matter what.

Trends | From Cheeks to Lips

So cheeks are different from lips. I know, shocker. You learn something new everyday. Well, it seems one of the latest trends has forgotten the different. Or I have for a little bit anywho. Cream blushers appear everywhere now and it has become custom to pop this on your lips as well. So I put it to the test. I have four cream blushes (hold on lemme recount... yes four) so how did they get on with my lips? Let's take a look see...

REVLON BABY STICK

A lovely little pigmented stick that glides easily on the cheeks, and is made specifically for lips as well. I find it quite hard to apply onto the lips as it's quite a large face. It's a very pale pink colour when it's applied, that does show up every flaw, but actually looks really nice. Not my favourite formula for lips, but also one I wouldn't throw away.

BENEFIT BENETINT

Benefit's first product, and notorious for cheeks and lips. Cheeks it's incredibly long lasting and I love it, however on the lips it doesn't seem to do an awful lot to me. It tastes a bit ick. It does leave a small tint, enough to make my lips look healthy which is nice, and it's very long lasting. But the taste lingers and I'm not a huge fan.

BOURJOIS CREAM BLUSH IN ROSE TENDER

This goes onto the cheek like a deep rose and is really natural and lovely. it is your typical cream to powder finish so when it's applied onto the lips it's not the most comfortable. it's surprisingly peach-ish on the lips considering the colour on the cheeks, but the powdery finish isn't very comfortable and means it doesn't last very long on the lips. Not great.

MAX FACTOR CREAM BLUSH

Okay so this is definitely my favourite. Probably the one cream blush that doesn't pop over to the powdery side, it stays creamy and I love this on my cheeks and lips. A gorgeous colour on the cheeks, and a light pink on the lips that's very long lasting and comfortable to wear. Definitely my favourite cream blush thus far and also my favourite C2L product (cheeks to lip) as well!

TOPSHOP CREAM BLUSH IN HEAD OVER HEELS

Another blush that goes from cream to powdery on application. On the cheeks it's a gorgeous coral colour, one that usually lives on my cheeks day in and day out (until recently). Unfortunately it won't be on the lips, it's quite cakey and uncomfortable. The colour is gorgeous, a lovely coral peach that's perfect for summer, but the consistency just isn't comfortable.

So although it seems to be talked about a lot, I don't think it's a winner all around the block. We have a couple of great product, but where a lot of cream blushes go to powder on application it doesn't make for great lip products! So maybe this is one trend I won't be continuing with...

Skincare | Origins Zero Oil Cleanser

Day two of Lisa gushing about products. This beaut of a cleanser has appeared in a couple of posts, such as Cleansers and June Faves, but I hadn't realised I've not done an actual post dedicated to just it. My new love, the product that has changed my skin completely - and for that I owe it at least one gushing review. So get the sick buckets ready...

Okay, so as you all know I have oily skin, it's the bane of my life. So when I saw that Origins did a zero oil cleanser I knew I had to try it. Yes a tad on the pricey side, however well worth it. It's a gel cleanser, that I pop on a wet face and massage into the skin. Once covered, wipe off with a flannel. My skin feels refreshed and light. It contains Salicyclic Acid, which I've heard before is amazing for oily skin as it acts as a chemical exfoliant that deep cleans pores; and saw palmetto inhibits excess oil production. 

Since using this morning and evening, my skin has significantly improved. I've even been able to use products that used to break me out, now they don't. Yay! Honestly, the best cleanser I've used and I'm never looking back. I would recommend this collection for anyone with oily skin.

Make Up | Nars Deep Throat

NARS BLUSH IN DEEP THROAT £21.50

Well look at me, I've finally got my first ever Nars product. When deciding which product to go for common sense told me to go for a blush. After googling different swatches and reviews I finally decided on Deep Throat. Now, let's take a minute to have a giggle at the name. Giggle, now breeeathe. Done.

So, this is a gorgeous peach blusher, a colour that I haven't previously owned so was a nice chance. It's got a very faint shimmer to it which negates the need for a highligher. This is GORGEOUS paired with a matte bronzer (my choice being Bourjois chocolate bronzer) and actually is just plain damn gorgeous.

Longevity it's amazing - almost as long lasting as the Tarte Amazonian Clay blush. I think it looks more natural than other powder blushes I've tried, and the peach colour is definitely one to brighten the complexion and a fab summer shade. I'm completely in love with this. (Almost typed in love with deep throat... giggle)

This is one product that is definitely worth the hype and I have satisfied my Nars curiosity. I bought this from Asos as I didn't want to pay the £7 delivery charge... and Asos was free delivery, it was kind of a no brainer.
