Style | A Snapshot of Christmas Essie

It's been so long since I went out and bought a nail polish I didn't even realise Essie did gel polishes... Even so, when I saw their Christmas collection had come out I had to pick up a couple of pieces.

A lot of the collection was quite similar to previous years, or colours I already own, however the two I picked up really stood out for me. Now I'm not going to go on about the formula as I've talked about it many times before, but I love these colours.

First up is Satin Sister, which is a gorgeous deep mermaid type green. It's a great Christmas colour. It's not too intensely green but it's subtle enough to have a pop of colour and not too dark it looks black. Then you have Ready to Boa, which I think is my favourite of the two and it found it's way straight on my nails. It's a really different shade, like a reddy brown with a hint of shimmer. I love this shade, I think it's the perfect colour going into the colder months and the Christmas season.

It's definitely worth picking these up, but there's a shade for everyone this Christmas - not just shimmers and dark colours, but there's a beautiful pink and a glittering gold as well. Check it our for your winter colour now.

What's your Essie Christmas pick?
