The Review | An Everyday Natural Mascara

There are those days where you don't really want to wear too much make up and you want to just look like yourself but better. One thing I really struggle to do is find a mascara that actually helps achieve this. It's my own fault, I love long lengthening volumising mascaras. And none of that says "natural".

All that has now changed. On my hunt for the most natural looking mascara I came across this one by BornPretty. The (incredibly long named) Professional Curly Thick Mascara Lash Extension Lengthening Waterproof Mascara* is a lovely little everyday mascara that doesn't make your lashes look fake or exagerrated, just understated and very pretty.

The brush is a cone shape, with lots of thin bristles which really help to separate each lash and define them. I'm not usually a fan of bristly mascaras but I definitely see the benefit in this instance. The mascara is blacker than black and coats your lashes evenly. It isn't clumpy at all which is great and it's waterproof as well which means it's staying power is really good.

I've been reaching for this on my working from home days where I really can't be bothered to look too made up. It is just a lovely, light mascara for that no make up, make up look.

BornPretty are currently offering all Topaz & May readers 10% off all orders. Just use the code MAYH10 at the checkout.

  1. Love the look of this. I tend to always go for lots of length and volume but have but after something more subtle for days I want dressed down black liner.

    1. Yeah I'm the same as you! This is a great little natural mascara :) I'd also recommend the Rimmel Wake Me Up one as well. Those 2 are awesome for more of a subtle mascara look!
